Day 3 and 4: July 12-13 Chatterton Family Reunion

Today we are going to the Chatterton Family Reunion at Seaquest Park, just outside of Mt. St Helens.

The park was absolutely beautiful, full of trees and very very green. Cameron loves looking at all the green and the tall trees. There was a lake nearby so we took the kids down for a short walk on the docks. We did not let them get in the water because it was pretty dirty. But they hung there feet over the edge, and we kept wondering who would be the first to fall in, but to our surprise we all went back pretty dry. 0.0.................... That was Morgan telling everyone about her favorite part of the reunion.

We had so much fun at the reunion. Their were only a few family members missing from the reunion. It was great to finally meet a majority of the Chatterton side of the family after 10 years of marriage. We played at the park pretty much all day. Zach and Cameron were inseperable once again today. They ran around into the wooded areas, they played golf, frisbee but the best part for them was probably the swinging.

Amy and Katie pushing the boys

the boys patiently waiting for someone to push them

Michelle and Levi pushing Cameron and Zach

They were pretty convincing when they needed to be pushed and their older cousin Michelle and Levi got suckered into pushing them for quite a while. Rich and I played catch for awhile and Morgan was getting acquainted with all her new family members. I am pretty surprised with her behavior on this trip, she has been very clingy since we left but just with me. We have already planned the next reunion for July 2010. The weather was perfect as well, everyone seemed to really enjoy themselves. I only wish we would have taken a few more pictures.

After the reunion we went back to Katie's house and stayed another night with them. The boys had so much fun, I can't remember the last time I saw Cameron have this much fun. I can't speak for Zach but I know Cameron was up past his bed time each night by at least 3-4 hours and they never seemed to get warn out. The last night we were there Cameron did not go to bed until after midnight, that is the latest he has ever stayed up!!

On Sunday morning we got up and headed to Westport Beach, where we will spend the next 3 days. We are staying out a place called the Chateau Resort, just off the water.
