Routines

Our life if full of routines but the one that never seems to change is Morgans wake up and morning routine. It goes like this, wake up 5:38AM, not crying but talking and playing if you don't go get her she starts crying. I get up go get her bring her to our bed and try and pray she goes back to sleep but 6/7 times I am out of luck. Downstairs we go, once down there she has to sit in the corner of the couch with both blankies in hand. I feed the dog and then "toot and puddle" comes on and she has to have 4 ritz crackers and a glass of water. I must be sitting right next to her during this process, and then we eat breakfast and then anything could happen.

This morning Morgan snuck out the back door with the dog and played in the sprinklers. She loved it but soon realized it was a bit chilly.

I hate getting up so early but on the other hand I love this special time we have together. We don't get a lot of alone time together so this for us is our special place everyday. I just hope it continues as she grows older. I do love my little girl so much... I know it means just as much to Morgan because when dad gets up and goes in her room she crys and crys even harder when he takes her down stairs.

Saturday full of rain and fun

Can you believe that it rained pretty much the whole day, and did I mention it was freezing out part of the day as well, I don't think it got past 62 degrees.

We started are day off by Cameron having an 8:00AM baseball game, we weren't sure if we were going to play or not so we headed down to the field and we decided to go ahead and play because the rain had let up a bit, we only had 5 players show up. By the time the first inning was over with it was raining pretty hard and the kids were freezing so we decided to call it a game. Morgan was so cold her lips were turning blue. We got home and the kids stripped off the wet clothes and put their pj's back on and we just hung out all day doing nothing, it was nice.

After Morgan got up from her nap we decided to do some painting. But as you can see things were going good and then I turn my back for a second and you can only imagine what happened, yep they decided to paint their bodies :) They had a blast doing it and even more fun in the tub washing it off.

The pictures tell the story on how much fun they had painting. Needless to say they were both whisked off to the bath tub for some more fun. They were amazed at how black the water got, but odds are pretty good when you mix that many paint colors together.

After our arts and crafts we made some dinner and then it was time to do the Easter eggs. I really wasn't thinking when I let them paint then a bath and then to do Easter Eggs, needless to say Morgan had 2 baths and Cameron only required 1. I will post painting easter eggs with Easter pictures. Happy Saturday

Cameron

While at the park on Sunday Cameron wanted to go across the monkey bars but was afraid to, he was justifying to himself why he shouldn't cross them.

Morgan

On Sunday we went down to the park to play and then we came back and had a late lunch. I was doing the dishes and Morgan was being unusually quite while eating her lunch, and I looked over at her and she was sound a sleep still trying to eat lunch. I took a video clip of her.
