Day after thanksgiving

Today was a pretty lazy day for the most part. the kids got up around 6:15 or so and we snuggled on the couch and watched cartoons. I then had to get ready to head into the office for a few hours it wasn't too bad I only stayed for 1/2 the day. When I came home Cameron was playing with his stickers, which he aboslutlely loves. First they stuck them all over my face and then Morgan pulled them off my face and put them on hers.

Happy Thanksgiving, a little late

Thanksgiving has too be one of my favorite days of the year. I just love all the food you have to choose from and it is the start of the holiday season. The weather has finally turned cold so Thanksgiving day was a little chilly and rainy, it was great.

This year we ate dinner at our house and had Jim and Gaby over for dinner. This was the first time Rich and I had cooked Thanksgiving dinner. We made a turkey with all the trimmings and Rich made a chocolate pie, it was all sooo delicious

Cameron wasn't crazy about dinner but Morgan on the other hand loved every bit of it.

After dinner the kids ran off to play and we searched through the ads to see if there was anything we just had to get up for, and luckily there wasn't.

I hope everyone had a wonderful thanksgiving and didn't eat too much food.

Cameron's Baseball Game

We have only two games left in this season. Cameron has done an amazing job this year and his skills are improving each week. He is stopping the ball when they come to him, he has learned how to slide side to side and he is hitting awesome. He has only had to use the tee one time this year.

Getting direction from coach

Running to 1st base and not even looking

Morgan loves watching brother play ball. She is getting pretty good at rolling the ball with a little boy named Danny. She just wanders around picking the grass and throwing in an occasional clap for her brother.

Daddy's Girl

Tonight we were sitting on the bed and Rich was brushing Morgan's hair and she was just loving it, she kept moving her head as he was brushing it. She would look up at daddy and just smile. When he was done he put the brush down, and Morgan looked at him like "you aren't done yet" so he picked up the brush and continued brushing her hair until she was satisfied.

Tuesday is Grandma and Grandpa Day

Almost every Tuesday Morgan goes and spends a couple of hours with Grandma and Grandpa and she has so much fun. I am pretty sure that she gets a little spoiled :)

Halloween night

I know I am a little late on posting the pictures.
The kids started the day off by carving the pumpkin, I was at work so no pictures were taken by dad. But they loved scooping out the guts and then cooking the seeds of course and eating them is always a highlight.
After getting the pumpkins in the right order on the front porch we were ready to hit the neighborhood. Cameron had to make sure all the pumpkins were in the right place before he would go Trick or Treating.

Cameron decided to go as Darth Vader
Morgan went as Dumbo, but didn't love her costume and the head was really hard to get to stay on.

I guess you can say we are lucky parents because Cameron really prefers handing out the candy for the most part. We made it around the block and he was ready to come home, but he didn't do to bad on the candy. Morgan went along in the stroller, we didn't have her go up to the door and get candy, maybe next year...

The "BIG TOY BOOK"

We all remember this book. It would come in the newspaper once a year, just in time to start looking for things Santa can bring us. They Toy R Us toy book. Aunt Lori gave Cameron the toy book, and he immediatly got his pencil out and was ready to start putting X's on everything he was wanting.
He would thumb through each page and say "no starwars, don't want it" and then came the page with all the star wars stuff and every item on that page got an X on it.

A Day at the Zoo

Nothing like spending a Sunday afternoon with a good friend and walking around the zoo. Last Sunday was Boo at the Zoo, so off to the zoo we went. We met a friend at the zoo, Terri, Paige and Grant. Cameron and Paige are two peas in a pod, they get along so well. They have alot of the same interest, and just love being with each other. Paige has a new little brother, Grant is 4 months old.

We started the day off by having the kids face painted, Cameron chose a tiger and Paige chose a lion.

They looked awesome, and very animal like. While the kids were getting their face painted, Morgan was having fun playing in the dirt

Since it was BOO at the Zoo that day there were all kinds of activities for the kids and characters out and about around the zoo.

One of the games they had was a life size game of Operation. They had fun pulling the really big bones out of the body.

We didn't see alot of animals this time around but the kids still had a blast with everything to do. The day was ended with a snow cone to cool us down and a picture of Morgan and Grant taking in the great outdoors.
