Cameron...Batman

If Cameron had to write an essay about his summer vacation at this point it would be quite boring. He has spent most of his days in his pj's playing nintendo, watching movies, and we get to the pool about 3-4 times a week. But he has also become quite imaginative hanging around the house. Last week I caught him flying off his bed, because he was batman and Morgan was robin, luckily he didn't have Morgan flying off the bed, I am sure that will be next...

Look Who is Walking

Morgan has been walking holding onto the furniture since she was 8 months old but never really took off, well in the last 3 days she has really taken to walking. She no longer wants to crawl anywhere she must walk. Today we were at the pool and it would have been much easier for her to crawl around in the play area but she insisted on walking and she just kept falling face forward in the water, never minded the water a bit.

She loves chasing Cameron and Cameron is loving that she can chase him now. She raises him up the stairs, only when we can't catch her first.

Morgan and Cameron Playing

Morgan is getting to be that fun age for Cameron to start playing with him. The other day it was so cute they were playing Star Wars, and Cameron was telling Morgan that she is not allowed to be a Jedi Knight because she is not old enough, so she to be R2D2 until she is older :)

Morgans favorite toys to play with of Camerons are his matchbox cars, she absolutely loves them. I bought her a little purse to play with but she really loves those cars, sorry Aunt Lori she might be a little tomboy after all.

I love watching them together. Cameron is so careful with her and watches over her like a hawk. He will be great when it comes time for Morgan to date, oh yea, we are not going to let her date :) maybe when she is 30!!

I hope as they grow up they remain close to each other and look out for each other like brothers and sisters do.

Big Day all pooped out!!

WOW, we had a very very busy day. We got up bright an early with the sun, lounged around the house for a few hours and then we headed to the zoo. We didn't stay too long because when we got there it was already 98 degrees and by the time we left it was probably 104 or so. But we made it to the important animals, and of course the most important thing is to make sure Cameron and I have our snow cone.

Cameron's love for animals is still as strong as it was when he was little. The boy owns every stuffed animal you can buy at the zoo and just wants more. Maybe he will grow up to be a vet!!!

After the zoo we came home for a brief nap for mom and then we headed back out to an outdoor mall. It is a new mall in the area and all the shops are outside, and there is lots of fun things for the kids to do. They have a whole section where kids can play on toys, and then they have the water to play in. So Cameron convinced me to let him strip down to his shorts and play in the water, which of course meant I had to buy a beach towel and dry clothes for afterwards.

Smart marketing to put the Disney store right in front of the water area. While Cameron was playing in the water Morgan was enjoying herself in the grass and every once in a while we would go put her feet in the water.

What would a trip to a mall be without visiting build a bear. Cameron just had to have another stuffed animal and this time he chose an elephant dressed up as batman. Cameron now has 3 animals from build a bear: cheetah, bear and now an elephant. After the water and playing on all the toys we finally decided to come home and call it a day. Morgan headed straight for the bath and then to bed and Cameron stayed up pretty late but now has fallen asleep in bed with me while I am writing this post.

Good night my sweet boy!!

It has been a while since I have posted so I have lots to catch up on. This is our second week into summer and we have been so lazy this week. Every day when I come home from work Cameron is still in his pajamas. Today was really no exception. Cameron really wanted to go to the park but it was a little warm so we compromised and went to the mall and played in the play area.

Morgan wanted to pose for a picture with her new blankie before heading off to the mall.

This should tire him out just a little.

Morgan explored around the play area for the first time today.
