Sping is in the air, and so is baseball
Morgan did not enjoy the game so much, she spent the entire time screaming her head off. She was very hot and tired, and to make matters worse I forgot her sun hat and Rich forgot the binky, so we were doomed for the day.

My first digital scrapbook page
I truly do love to scrapbook, but just simply have no time to pull out all the supplies figure out which pictures I am going to use, the layout etc... So when Raygon started posting her super cute pages I looked into it and it seems pretty cool. I bought a program and I got busy. I know its not the best page but we all have to start somewhere.

A lesson in shaving
Being a mom you don't get a whole lot of time to yourself without someone nagging at you. My quiet and alone time is when I am taking a nice relaxing bath (90% of the time). Well tonight happen to be one of those 10% moments while taking a bath. Rich went over to see a friend, Morgan already in bed so Cameron and I stayed up and watched Hairspray, about half way through I decided to go take a bath so when he did go to bed I could get working on my list of things I needed to get done before going to bed. As I am shaving my armpit Cameron walks in and sits down on the toilet and says:
Conversation with Cameron
C: Why are you shaving your arms, I don't see any hair
A: thats the point honey, girls don't want hair under their arms
C: well Zachary and Dylan (his cousins) sure do have a lot of hair under their arms, when will they shave it off?
A: boys don't shave their arms, so they will always have hair there
C: thats disgusting, I am not ever having hair under my arms
C: mom, later when I am older will you teach my how to shave my legs
A: first boys don't shave their legs and second when the time comes dad will teach you how to shave your face
C: duh, I already know how to shave my face
And then he gets up an walks off. I was never expecting that conversation in a million years.

Happy Easter
Easter snuck right up on us this year. We were out of town the week before and did not get home until Saturday afternoon, so needless to say I was a little unprepared for Easter this year.
Morgan did not really enjoy getting ready for church but once we got her dressed she seemed to be content. Cameron loves to dress up, so he was no problem at all.

HELP CAMERON LEARN ABOUT YOUR STATE
Dear Friend,
My Pre-K class has been very busing learning about all the states on the map. I am hoping that you will send our class a postcard from your town or city to the following address:
Cameron Chatterton
In Care of Mrs. Flanagan
Noah Webster Basic School
7301 E. Baseline Road
Mesa, AZ 85208
I will share the postcard with my class and mark where it came from on a map. If you want to include a fun package, please do!!! For example, gummy alligators if you're from Florida, Buckeye candy from Ohio, or even gold dust from California.
Thank you for helping us learn more about different places in the world and for helping us with this fun project.
Love,
Cameron

Cameron
We are just 2 months shy of Cameron's 5th birthday, I can't believe how fast time has gone by. It just seems like yesterday he was learning to walk, and today he can spell his name and basic words. We signed up for T-ball this weekend, this will be his 3rd season of t-ball and then in May he will move to coach pitch for the summer. Cameron has also shown interest in wanting to try Karate so we are trying to find a good place for him to go. I want to make sure he is serious about Karate before we make this investment, for it can get very expensive not to mention the time committment. School is going great. He is such a smart and amazing little guy. Every day he amazes me in some new way. On saturday night he sat down and read his first story to me. It was so awesome listening to him read, he actually knew what the words were and if he missed one. He is always asking lots and lots of questions. Most of the time Rich and I can't answer and have to get back with him. His latest questions are about Jesus and why he died for us, and what does God look like, and will he ever see his Aunt Hattie again or will she be in heaven for ever. These are just a few of them, the boy just comes up with them out of the blue. Luckily he will be started RE (Religious Education) in August, this will help us answer his many questions.
His current favorite movie is Hairspray, and yes he knows every song by heart along with the dance moves, and I catch him looking at himself in the mirror because he thinks he is Link.

Today was like Christmas
Being an adult you wouldn't think we get too excited to receive a package in the mail or just can't wait to get one in the mail. Rich and I ordered new laptops and I got mine today but his didn't arrive and should be here tomorrow. It was so exciting to open and see how beautiful it looks before you start downloading it with all sorts of things. The best thing about the laptop is it comes with a 10 key pad just like a regular keyboard. This feature is one of the reasons I fell in love with this machine. It will be so nice to have it attached to my computer versus me always having to make sure I bring it home each night and don't forget the wireless adapter.
Rich can't wait to get his, we pretty much have the same machine now, his comes with a camera built in so that is pretty cool. If you have a camera on your computer let us know and we can chat that way. Of course the downside of new laptops is the transferring data to the new one, but I look at it like I am moving. It is a good time to clean it up and get rid of all the junk I don't need or use anymore.
