Wednesday was Cameron's last day of school and he is officially a 1st grader and summer has begun. What fun things do we have planned this summer. I am most excited about being home with the kids more, my new schedule will allow me to be home at least 3 days a week with them. We will do lots of swimming and playing at the park in the evening time. Cameron is going to attend a summer camp during June at the Queen Creek Performing Arts Center, and then in July he will go to a week of baseball camp, and a week at vacation bible school. Morgan will be taking a play along pals class in July, this will be her first time to take a class, she is so ready for it. We will also be celebrating Morgan's 2nd birthday in July. Then well take a small vacation over to CA before school starts and before you know it, it will be fall.

Memorial Day
We had a pretty lazy Memorial Day weekend. The only exciting thing we did was go swimming. It was the first day the pool were open and surprisingly they weren't very crowded, it was pretty chilly. Cameron was very excited because this year he is tall enough to go down the big water slides and a few days later he discovered that he swims well enough to jump off the diving board. They give the kids a swim test before they allow them to jump off the diving board and Cameron passed, this was a big moment for him.
We learned that Morgan has no fear of water. She was asleep when we arrived and slept for about another 30 minutes and when she woke up she realized where we were at and took off running into the water. Good thing dad was there to catch her.
All in all it was a good way to kick off the summer...

Cameron and bed time
When we bought Cameron his loft bed we bought a tent that went on top, but he has never wanted it on there until now. The other night before his bed time we put it on bed and he loved it right away. It is pretty cool, it has stars all over it.
After the fun of having a tent on the bed it was time to say goodnight. I was able to capture Rich and Cameron saying goodnight to each other. He so loves his daddy.
